Pet Portraits

Mick is an artist working with both sculpture and paint mediums and although much of his work is firmly in the dark art genre, he also loves creating portraits of our fury friends. Portraits can be either traditional oil or an airbrush painting using acrylic paint on synthetic paper. Both come unframed, however frame options are available. These are painted from supplied good quality digital photographs taken here during your stay or from a favourite photo you already have.

Behaviour Consultations

Mandy is a Dog Trainer and Behaviour Consultant specialising in reactive, anxious and fearful dogs, helping owners navigate the stresses and conflicting emotions that inevitably come with living with such dogs.

Mandy is also a Dynamic Dog Practitioner and is trained to carry out functional assessments of your dogs and in identifying signs of pain and discomfort. All behaviour consultations include a full Dynamic Dog Assessment and can be carried out remotely or booked and undertaken during your stay.  More information is available on her website:

Dog Sitting

We ask that dogs are not left unsupervised inside the Cottage.  If you would like to go out without your dog for a trip or for dinner, then Mandy can sit with your dogs in the Cottage. 

Pet Sitting is charged at £10 an hour for a maximum of 4 hours and is bookable during your stay and subject to availability.
